Hi I'm Kelsie

I am a "Jack of all trades." I am a wife, a daughter, a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself to be a "Jack of all trades." I love to do so many different things that sometimes I just don't take the time to master one thing, I am always ready to try the next thing. I play soccer, I ride bikes, I sew, I paint, I play the piano, I cook, I read, I run, I take pictures, I do yoga, I decorate cakes. I am happily married to my husband, Danny. He is going to school. I am working to support him as he continues his education. One of my biggest dreams is to be a mom. I love spending time with my family. I love all the traditions we have together, whether it be celebrations for birthdays and holidays, running 1/2 marathons together, going camping, or just playing games.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. A few of these reasons include: the guidance I receive, the hope I am given, and the happiness I feel. There are so many choices to make, big or small. Sometimes there are too many choices and I would have no idea what to choose. Being a Mormon, I am given guidance through the teachings of the gospel that helps me make these choices. I am also given direct guidance from my Heavenly Father as I pray to Him and He gives me answers. I am a Mormon because of the hope it brings me; I love my family and I know that I will be with them for eternity. I also know that though I am far from being perfect, that one day, through the atonement of Jesus Christ, that I too can be perfected. Finally, I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness. I have learned what is truly important in this life. And I have found that when I focus on these things, like my family, serving others, even loving myself as my Savior and Heavenly Father love me, that I truly am happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to improve myself each day. I know there is always something I can do better today than I did yesterday. I attend church each week and learn more about my Savior, Jesus Christ, and his teachings; this way I can better follow His example. I also live my faith by being the best wife, the best friend, the best co-worker, and the best daughter that I know how to be.
