Hi I'm Spencer Boltz

I'm Spencer Boltz! I am from The Boonies of Plain City Utah. I like to run, go on adventures, and just have fun! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hello There! I would say I am a hipster but, that would not make me one... I love to run and run some more! I am currently serving a mission in the Rancho Cucamonga Mission I love every minute of it. Basically to sum me up in a nutshell is I am a tad crazy but in a good way. Very passionate about what I do. I have grown up around two sisters and a older brother. I have a super parent of a father who plays as both mom and dad. He is my hero. I tend to spend a lot of time on crazy adventures looking for those memories you cannot just go out and buy. I love that I was blessed to be born in Utah. You can live on the mountains all year round. Snowboard in Winter and Mountain Bike in the Summer. I spent a lot of my time working but it never felt that way. I taught Art to young kids and worked with special needs children. Nothing is more rewarding then knowing you can help someone. I love the old saying "Have I done any good in the world today?" That is something I try to ask myself often. If you can help someone else have a better day what else do we need? When I return home I will be finishing my degree in Criminal Justice and going to the Police Academy with a focus on Forensics and Homicide! Not to mention going on crazy adventures!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. Being from Utah you are taught to always go to church and such. This has always had meaning to me. I did not grow up into the strongest family in the church. Sure we tried our best to go to church as much as we could. But over time most of my family did not go. When my parents divorced a few years back, it was hard going to church. I prayed and tried to stay at strong as I could. I ended up going to different wards to get away from it all. What I learned from all of this is that the church might be located in a different spot but the message is still the same. Today I am thankful for this. It made me grow up quicker but with knowledge most people my age would not get. Something that helped me choose to keep going to church even thought the circumstances was knowing about prayer and forgiveness. That no matter what kind of family you have grown up in he is always there for you. No matter what you can turn to him and feel comfort.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the standards that have been set before me. I am currently serving a mission in the good old state of California. By doing so I maintain the expectations that we should all live. Being a missionary you spend every day inviting others to learn more about our faith. I think the most rewarding thing is seeing the joy it can bring others. Also I love the fact that everywhere you can go the people are different but the faith is the same. Faith is simply putting everything you have on Jesus Christ. Knowing that if you do so you can find the hope that is needed to feel that faith that we all need. I know that we can all look to Him for faith. As we strive to know Jesus Christ more we can feel our faith growing. We have the opportunity to read the scriptures daily. This has improved my knowledge of this immensely.
