Hi I'm Andrew

I was born in Germany and I was adopted. I grew up in Texas my whole life, I love music, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Texas my whole life and have been raised by loving and supportive parents. I attend Brigham Young University, where I study Molecular Biology and Music. I play piano classically and have preformed in various choirs, most recently BYU Men's Chorus. I love music, as it has been and continues to be a huge part of my life, and a way I can connect to and feel the Spirit very easily. My family and I had the opportunity to be sealed in the Temple when I was a teenager, and to this day has been the most spiritually uplifting experience of my life. I also enjoy sports, most notably football (American Football). Other hobbies include being with friends and family and eating cheesecake. It is delicious. Seriously...try it. It's quite delectable.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because... 1. I have a knowledge that Jesus Christ my Savior and Redeemer 2. I have pondered and searched the Book of Mormon and have received an undeniable witness that it is an ancient record of the inhabitants of the early Americas, and that ancient prophets of The Lord preserved this record for our day, to restore the light of His Gospel upon the earth in these latter days, to guide His children in truth and righteousness, and to be a second witness that Jesus is the Christ, the Holy Son of the living God. 3. The Gospel has brought me immense joy and happiness in life. No matter what trials or tribulations come my way, my strength and my anchor is in my savior Jesus Christ, and this Gospel has brought me that joy and peace. 4. We are led by modern prophets and apostles who have been called by God to lead and guide His Church (Amos 3:7) I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know it! I live it! I love it!

How I live my faith

I attend Church every Sunday and attend all of my Church meetings. I am currently the Ward Music Co-Chair, where I select the various hymns and other special musical numbers for sacrament meeting and other fireside events for the ward. I really enjoy and love this calling, since it allows me to work closely with music, and music truly brings the spirit into every sacrament meeting. Soon I will serve on a two year mission for the Church, where I will be a representative of The Lord in inviting others to come unto Him by bringing them His restored Gospel. I also frequently share Gospel videos on social media sites to touch the lives of those I know. Overall, I just try to be a better person and become closer to the Savior everyday.
