Hi I'm Rebekah Pierce

I am from Oregon. I am a student at BYU. I am currently serving in the Adriatic South Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of three kids. My older brother served a mission in Brazil. I grew up in Oregon and moved to Provo in 2013 to attend Brigham Young University. I attended early morning seminary in high school and was one of 5 members in my graduating class. I played tennis and was on the varsity cheerleading squad during highschool. I love cooking and baking. I spend as much time as I can with my friends and family. I am currently serving in the Adriatic South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because of the happiness I get from keeping the commandments. I follow the gospel because I love the peace I get from knowing my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. I follow the gospel because I know that Christ died for my sins and I want to do everything that I can to show my appreciation for that and strive to live with my brother again in heaven.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary in my ward and once a week I meet with the other ward missionaries and we go online and chat with people who have questions about the church, and find inspiring videos to share on Facebook, and just promote the church in positive ways. I attend church every week and my religion classes at school. I try to volunteer as much as I can and just be a positive influence to my peers.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Rebekah Pierce
Yes! We love the Bible! The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. We believe that it supports the Bible. We study both the Book of Mormon and the Bible. Show more Show less
