Hi I'm Trevor Alex Christensen

I was born in Colorado and grew up in Utah. I Love everything about Jazz, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the LDS Church my entire life, my parents both came from LDS families and raised me in the church. I am a poet at heart, or so I like to believe, but my true love is Music. All of Art intrigues me but nothing so much as the mystery that is music. I have played the piano for most of my life, and have dabbled in other instruments, such as the guitar, violin, banjo, and mandolin. But none of the aforementioned instruments compare to the genuine power of the piano, or so it is in my mind. I love Learning, I love Education, and I have hopes to combine all of my loves one day when I attend college, which I look forward to very much.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the biggest things that I focus on when considering how to live my life as a member of the church Is love. I hope to emulate the Christ like love that has been shown to me on more occasions than I can count. To me, everything comes back to family, and I subscribe to the Philosophy of the world as a Family. I believe Our Heavenly Father is Literally Our Father, the Father of our spirits. To me, each and every soul that I come into contact with is a loved brother or sister of mine, and a Child of Our Heavenly Father who loves them very much. Having been raised in the church, I don't have a compelling and tear jerking story of how I came to know that it is true. That being said, I do know that it is true. I have a Testimony of our Heavenly Father, and Of his Son, Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon, and Testify of its truth as well. I know that Joseph Smith, who translated the Book of Mormon, did so not through his own strength or Knowledge, but through The Power and Wisdom of God. I testify that this power is still found on the earth Today, and that God still Speaks to his children, through the prophets of our day. I am Grateful to my Heavenly Father for all that he has done for me, and for the opportunity that he gives me to find my way back to him again.

How I live my faith

I am Currently serving an LDS mission for the church, where I strive to help and serve the people who I am called to. The church has given me an Area where I am to Serve and I hope to do my best as I submit my will to the Lord for the next two years. I have tried to live my faith at all times, and though I am so grateful to set aside this time for the Lord to formally serve him, I am proud to say that my service will not end, and did not begin, with that calling.
