Hi I'm Shannon Spence

I grew up in the little town of Shepherd, Montana. I love to play softball and ski. I grew up being LDS and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old. I am serving a mission in the California San Diego Spanish speaking mission. I am an only daughter. I grew up with three brothers so I was a bit of tom boy. All through high school I played softball. I was also in the band and played the flute. I love to ski and be outdoors. I went to BYU-I for a year before my mission. I don't know what I am going to major in so I completed some of my generals. I am currently in the MTC, learning how to bring others unto Christ and strengthening my testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has filled my life with hope and joy. I know my Heavenly Father loves me. Our Heavenly Father, just like our eartly father, wants to communicate with his children. Through prayer, we can communicate to Him. His love, along with Christ's, surrounds us every day of our lives whether we deserve it or not.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. There is this quote that goes something like this, "Come unto Christ so that when people know you they will want to know Christ." I always try to do my best to follow Christ and encourage others to do the same.
