Hi I'm Rachel Maria Findlay

I am a college student. I love my family, crazy adventures, playing games, and living life to the fullest. I’m a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in a Latter-Day-Saint family. My mother is from the Philippines and my dad is from Idaho, the best of both worlds! My mom taught us to appreciate all we have, and to cherish the little blessings in life. I a bit of a free spirit. I don’t usually do what’s popular or expected. I do what I love! I am currently attending BYU as a Freshman and majoring in pre-animation, chasing my dreams to make touching and uplifting films that families can watch together. I am incredibly happy! Everything I create is with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in mind.

Why I am a Mormon

Although both of my parents are LDS, I have gained my testimony on my own. My faith has made me a happier person because I have come to realize that our main objective is to love. Christ’s love is what has gotten me through my darkest times, and it is what I am most excited to share to people. I know that this gospel is true because I have seen and felt the wonderful and eternal happiness that comes from following its promises.

How I live my faith

I share my faith everyday by showing love to everyone I meet. Being kind and showing no judgment is my favorite way to share the gospel. I have participated in a variety of programs affiliated with the LDS church and have donated countless hours to service and leadership programs. One of my favorite things to do through the church was special needs mutual. I had a buddy with autism and was a friend to her as well as a guide. We played games, danced, and had a great time.
