Hi I'm Griffin

I'm a husband and father. I'm an economics professor, soccer enthusiast, amateur rock climber, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my teenage years, I started to notice that everybody around me picked up on new topics in school quicker than me. I soon came to that uncomfortable realization that I'm just not that smart. Shortly after, somebody I trusted and loved told me that the work of the world isn't done by geniuses, but by ordinary people who have learned to work in an extraordinary fashion. One of the most important principles I hope to teach my children is that you can make up for most personal deficiencies by learning to work in an extraordinary fashion.

Why I am a Mormon

I've come to know for myself through prayer and inspiration that this is God's church on this earth, and I'm happiest when my family and I abide by it's teachings. I mean, who doesn't want to be happy?

How I live my faith

I volunteer with the youth in our area. It is such a sweet experience to interact with kids who are just trying to understand the world around them. Having been the beneficiary of love and kindness shown to me in my youth, I love the opportunity I have to encourage the youth to come to Christ.
