Hi I'm Josh

I like sports and the outdoors, I work a lot, but I live for my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work for a large professional services firm providing consulting services. As a result, I am often traveling, but there is nothing better than being home with my wife and my 3 kids. Shooting hoops in the backyard, riding bikes at the park, or watching movies together are some of our common activities. When we can find the time and the money my wife and I endeavor to play handymen and do projects to fix up our home. We find youtube to be a great resource on how-to anything around the home.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I am like everyone else when I say that I want to be happy. I have experienced the greatest happiness when I am living the principles taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know through my experiences and the relationship I have developed with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that I am on the path that will bring me the greatest happiness now and forever. When I start to get down on myself or simply don't understand what is going on around me, I find comfort and strength knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father that I lived with as a spirit before this life, that I was sent here to earth with the purpose of receiving a body and living by faith, and that through Jesus Christ I can return to my Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and through His power, we can overcome all of our challenges and feel the warmth of His love.

How I live my faith

I currently serve the young men of our congregation. I am responsible for ensuring the young men ages 12-18 years old have uplifting lessons each Sunday and a meaningful activity each Wednesday night. I strive to lead by example by living the lessons taught each week and showing the young men they are loved by being there for them. I see these young men as the future leaders of our society and I work with them to have opportunities to develop leadership skills now while they are in their youth.
