Hi I'm Mikayla Prince

I've grown up babysitting, running, dancing, and singing. When I grow up I want to be a mom. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of two loving parents and six children. I babysat my younger siblings, learned to play the piano, ran Cross Country, and worked at a doughnut shop. I also have a passion for the arts; I've painted, I've sang, and I've danced. So, I've developed a wide variety of skills. I'm now a student at Brigham Young University. I'm studying Family Life as well as Spanish. My biggest dream in life is to be a stay-at-home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. I know that He is my Savior and my Redeemer. He has atoned for my sins. He has felt my pain. He lives. He brings me comfort, peace, hope, and joy. I feel a deep love for Him. I know that He loves me infinitely. I know that I am a daughter of God. He loves me more than I can ever know. He wants me to return to Him. I know that by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, I can return to live with my Heavenly Father. I find joy as I pray, read my scriptures, attend church, and serve others. Because I understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know where I came from, who I am, and what I am supposed to do while I am here. I know where I am going after this life, if I keep the commandments and have faith. I am a daughter of God and Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

During my teenage years, I helped teach a lot of the other teenage girls. I helped with organizing and leading camps over the summer. I also helped organized activities one a week to strengthen the girls' faith in Jesus Christ, help them understand the gospel and become better friends with each other. Now, at college, my roommate and I have two young women who we visit with once a month to check on how they are doing and if they need any help. We also share a short lesson about the gospel. I participate in our church choir by playing the piano. It helps us bring the Spirit to the other members by sharing our testimonies through song.
