Hi I'm Lizzie

I grew up in Murray, Utah. I love playing soccer and being outdoors. My family is everything. I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I´ve been playing soccer for about 13 years of my life. I have played rec, comp, and high school with my local high school team. I also love to run. I ran track on the off season of soccer at my local high school. Running just calms me. I love camping. My family and I go camping a lot during the summer months. On those camping trips we usually bring our boats. I love waking up in the early morning to get out on that glassy water to wake-board. Camp fires are just the best. Everyone sitting around the camp fire roasting smores...I roasting my starbursts. Family time is very important time for me. My family and I love to go shooting. I love music and the way it can change the my mood and for the spirit that it can bring. I grew up in the church. Every Sunday my mom would wake us up to go to church. When i got older I didnt want to go. My mom gave me the choice of going or not. Now that I am older, I love going to church and for the spirit that is brings. For the spiritual strength that I recieve from going. I am currently serving a mission in Concepción, Chile right now. I love every minute of it and the people are just so amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents are mormon, my siblings are mormon, and most of my extended family is mormon. I found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true for myself when one night, my family and I were camping. Now I love the outdoors. I love looking at the stars at night. There are so many stars, just so beautifully placed throughout the sky, I just knew that there was something after this life and the God, our Heavenly Father is real and is there for us. I have always known that this church is ture. I always have. I love the power of prayer. I cant tell you how many times I´ve been in a rush to get to a game and I only have one sock. I need to get to my game and I only had one sock and I would be looking everywhere for that sock. I would kneel in prayer and ask Heavenly Father to help me look for that sock. Without fail, everytime, I would find that other sock and make it on time to me game. Another acount, I was in elementry school and my best friend moved away. At that time I wasnt getting along very well with all the other students. Every night, I would pray to Heavenly Father to bring my friend back. I would be on my knees crying to Heavenly Father to just bring back my friend so that I could have someone to play with again. Years latter, in high school, my friend came back. We are still friends to this day. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ knows you individualy, by name. He knows whats best for you and He wants whats best for you. You are His spirit child. He loves you and He wants you to be happy in this life. In that time that my friend and I were apart, I was able to grow and make more firends. I may have struggled but I wasnt alone. Heavenly Father Jesus Christ was and is always there for me and I know that He is always there for you too. We just have to open the door for Him. I love prayer. I can pray anytime, anywhere. The power of paryer is real. I invite you to give a sincer prayer to Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I was in the Young Womens in my youth. This is a youth group for girls ages 12 to 18. We focas on how to better ourselfs for the future in having our own homes, our schooling and studies, friendships, our families and so on. Every Wednesday night we would have an activity together. We always had something fun to do, from service opportuinities in the community to going and seeing a movie. I helped plan these activities. This helped me how to be organized in everything. In how to plan out my day, the week, the month, and the year. I also helped plan even bigger events for all youth that were in grades 9-12 high school. This helped me with my communicating skills and how to be responsable.
