Hi I'm Heather Haight

I grew up as an Army Brat all over the United Sates and I play lacrosse for Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student attending Brigham Young University and studying Early Childhood Education. I love sports, especially lacrosse, and like to do outdoor activities such as hiking, snowboarding, water skiing, and wake boarding. I love trying new experiences like horseback riding, rock climbing, and sky diving! I'm a dog person and have two schnauzers and miss my other two that have passed on. I moved from state to state growing up because my dad is in the Army, spending most of my childhood on the east coast and in the south.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel and so I never had to search for the truth. As I got older though, I started to pray and ask God for myself if what I was learning was true. With every "yes" answer I received my testimony grew and is still growing. I love everything that this church teaches and I know that the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles are called of God to lead us in these latter days. I feel the Holy Ghost when they speak which reaffirms what I already know; that they speak the truth and that I belong to the one true church of God. Being a member of the church has made me into the person I am today and continues to make me better.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. My current calling is to teach Gospel Doctrine (Sunday School for adults) in my ward. I love teaching every Sunday because I get to study into deeper doctrine and I also get to hear the insights of my students and what they think about gospel principles. I am also preparing to serve an eighteen month mission for the church and could not be more excited!
