Hi I'm Emma Seaman

I'm grew up in Bromley (Outer London). I am a wife, a mother and a primary school teacher. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Bromley. I am a primary school teacher, I first trained and worked as an event designer. I love reading, fashion, going to the theatre and yoga. I am married and have a son who is cheekiness personified.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church in my early teens through my cousin who I am very close to, I had been to other churches but nothing felt quite right to me. When I attended this church I felt comfortable and something just clicked inside me, that made me know it was right. My mum wouldn't allow me to get baptised till I was 18 so I continued to attend Church and activities through my teenage years and when I was 18 I got baptised. It was worth the wait. I know that living my beliefs doesn't always give me the easy road but I know that the teachings are true and have seen the blessings in my life in uncountable ways. I know that when I live my beliefs and keep the commandments I am kept safe and protected. There is so much my family has been blessed with and I know that all those blessings can be attributed to God and following his commandments.

How I live my faith

I work with the teenage girls in my ward, I teach lessons on Sundays, organise and attend activities on thursday night support them and give them advice when they need it. I also visit women in our church with families to share lessons with them and just for us to enjoy each others company once a month.
