Hi I'm Cassie

I'm a big Disneyland fan. I'm a music lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing the piano, taking road trips with my family, eating good food, laughing hard, and going on adventures in the outdoors. I am currently in my second year of college at BYU, but am taking a break to serve a mission in Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church, but as I have become older, I have been able to gain a testimony of this church for myself, and I know that it is true! Probably the biggest part of my conversion was noticing the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ show to me on a daily basis. They love each of us individually and they show that love to us every day! I have felt their love as I have hiked in the mountains and felt the cool mountain breeze, while I admired the incredibly large and detailed scenery. I have felt their love through the giant hug of little kid. I have felt their love though a smile from a stranger. I have felt their love as I have been able to recall certain things I have studied while taking a big test. I have felt their love through the comfort and peace I have received when my heart was heavy and when I was feeling alone. I know that their love is everywhere, sometimes you just have to open your eyes. I have found that the best way I can gain a testimony of something is by trying it out for myself. As I have taken time to read and pray with a sincere heart about the Book of Mormon, about this church, and about other gospel principles, I have come to feel and understand of its truth, and that feeling is something that can't be denied. As I have followed the principles of this gospel and relied on my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I have found true and lasting happiness, and I wouldn't give that up for the world.

How I live my faith

I continually look to Jesus Christ as my biggest example. I am definitely not perfect, but all throughout my life I have tried my best, and am still trying my best, to become more like him. I'm going to be leaving my home for a year and half to serve a mission in Peru and I cannot wait! I have felt so much joy and happiness from the gospel and I'm excited to bless others by sharing what I know to be true!
