Hi I'm Mike Naegle Sr.

I am from Ogden, Utah. I spent my career in the military. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a 66 year-old man, married to a wonderful women. We have 5 kids and 16 grandkids; 2 greats. I spent the majority of my career in the military (27 years). This included the Marines, Navy, and Army. Retired now I love going on trips with my wife, tending to our horses, and most of all, living a gospel centered life.

Why I am a Mormon

I did not become active in the LDS faith until I was 47 years old. It was a small seed, that was planted by a dutiful Home Teacher, that eventually brought me into activity. It was one of the greatest decisions in my life. I have never looked back. One problem I constantly deal with is, that as I try to grow stronger in the faith and my tesimony of Jesus Christ's ministry increases, the bad habits I developed in my first 47 years are always there taunting me to fall prey to inticings of yesteryear. But it is not going to happen, I just wish I had grown up in the gospel and didn't carry so much extra baggage.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the senior High Councilor in the stake. My primary responsibility is to serve in the various wards of the stake, trying to assist in any way possible and help solve any issues within my wheelhouse. I am also responsible to coordinate building maintenance for 8 wards. Lastly, I coordinate activities associated with our LDS Girls Camp at Camp Lomondi, Utah.
