Hi I'm True McKelleb

I'm kinda new to this whole growing up thing. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in St. George, Utah and I graduated from high school in 2014. I am very artistic and I love to listen to music, sing, and to act in plays and stuff! I can't play a sport to save my life, but I am very competitive when it comes to Jenga! I am a poor college student preparing to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I could not be more excited for this step in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this gospel and I feel very blessed to say so! I live this gospel everyday because it truly makes me happy. I have always known that I am a daughter of God, and that has helped me through my insecure, wild teenage years. My standards have helped me become the person I am today. I waited till I was sixteen years old to date, and it sounds silly, but at the time it was the hardest thing! But through patience and faith, I learned how to be obedient and to trust God. God sees the big picture and only wants the best for us. I am a very busy girl with work, school, extracurricular activities, and my ongoing service projects, I sometimes get so stressed helpless. I can do all things with my Savior, Jesus Christ by my side. He helps me do my best, and feel good about it. Sometimes I look back on my day and realize the only way I survived was through His strength and blessings.

How I live my faith

I love making new friends. I believe Jesus Christ was the best kind of friend. I love helping people out and going the extra mile for them. I believe in being genuine and honest in all things. While I pursue my college education, I try to spend equal efforts to expand my spiritual knowledge by attending Institute classes and reading my scriptures every day. I love the Book of Isaiah and the Book of Mormon! I am so grateful for prophets and that revelation from God. My Heavenly Father and my savior, Jesus Christ, are my best friends and I love them dearly.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

True McKelleb
We are all imperfect. I make mistakes daily, and sometimes I get very frustrated with myself. Our Heavenly Father knew we would sometimes make wrong choices, so He provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins. He provided us with a Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that when we sincerely repent, we can be forgiven (Book of Mormon, Mosiah 4:6). My Savior is my rock. When I repent, I feel closer to Him and I feel like I can be a better person. He helps me forgive others and see them the way He sees them. Christ also helps me forgive myself. I'm so grateful for my Savior. Show more Show less
