Hi I'm Angie

I'm a wife, mom, and homeschool teacher. I love life. I love my Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a mini-van-driving, children’s-song-singing, mac-n-cheese-making mom. My relationships are so important to me. I love dates with my husband, bedtime cuddles and talks with my kids, reading children’s books, inspiring conversations, photo editing, shopping clearance racks, and checking off to-do-lists. Ultimately, I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have searched for God, and it is in this church that I have found him. I have knelt in sincere prayer, desiring with all my heart, to know if this is His church, and I know that it is. I am a Mormon because it is in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I have found peace despite all the confusion in the world. I have felt peace in times of joy as well as in times of sorrow. I know that, with God as my guide, things will always be ok. I am Mormon because I love how The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is focused on strengthening families. We receive guidance and support on how to build loving, Christ-centered relationships and homes. In temples families can be sealed together forever. I am a Mormon because I have a strong desire to help others. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints provides so many opportunities to serve, love, and care for one another. I've been able to develop wonderful friendships through these opportunities. I am a Mormon because I believe in revelation. I believe that God has called a prophet today, just as he has in the past, to receive revelation for His church. I believe that I have a right to revelation for myself and for my family. I have cherished this knowledge as I've searched for guidance in my life and have received it. I love that God cares about me personally. I am a Mormon because it is in this church that I have come to understand my value, that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father, and that there is purpose to my life. This is a daily strength to me and helps me to desire to honor Him. Ultimately, I am a Mormon because I have seen the good in this church, desired to be a part of it, and have cherished my experiences with it. I am proud to say I'm a Mormon and would gladly share my love for this church with everyone.

How I live my faith

I use Jesus Christ's example to guide me in my daily life. Like Him, I seek for and strengthen my relationship with Heavenly Father through daily prayer and study of the scriptures. The more I come to know God, the more I desire and acknowledge His presence in my life and realize that He is light, truth, and love, and that He is my Father. I strive to obedient, like Jesus Christ. In my efforts to be obedient, I have come to understand that commandments from God are loving directions on how to find Him as well as joy in this life. I am grateful that these loving directions have guided me to joy and away from pain, sadness, and addiction. I feel His love as I choose to follow Him. Jesus Christ served and loved everyone, especially those in distress. Being His hands to ease heartache, compassionately listen, lovingly forgive, and strengthen those around me has shown me pure joy, an empowering feeling of light that fills my soul. It has been through my pursuit of His love that I have had some of the sweetest, most cherished experiences of my life. I try to forgive, as Jesus did, and have found forgiveness to be a wonderfully sweet and peaceful feeling. I have found that if I desire to forgive, Jesus Christ will help me in my efforts. I live my faith by trying to be as Christlike as I can, turning to Him for guidance and correction, and hopefully showing everyone the joy that comes from Jesus Christ.
