Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV. I love spending time with my family, musicals, and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and have three younger brothers. I love to sing and dance and watch others share their talents, on the stage and off. I love sharing my testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through music. I am currently putting my college education on hold to prepare to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I can't wait to serve the people of Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family that is active in the Church, and have always known that I have a Heavenly Father and Savior who love me. Though I was raised in the gospel, I've had many moments of "conversion" throughout my life, which have continued to strengthen my testimony and conviction of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His true church. When I've made a wrong decision, I don't like the feeling of knowing that I've done something to offend God and have separated myself from the joy that comes with righteous living. Many people today are searching for "happiness," and I know that nothing brings me more happiness and true joy than living how I know my Father in Heaven and Savior, Jesus Christ, want me to live.

How I live my faith

As a teenager I had several opportunities to share my beliefs with youth and adults alike, in a variety of situations and circumstances. In my university ward I was asked to teach the women each month and enjoyed learning more about the gospel myself as I prepared my lessons. I will soon be leaving to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Argentina. As I've been preparing to be a missionary I've had the chance to share my plans and reasons for deciding to go with many different people. I'm looking forward to everything I will learn as a missionary and all the ways I will grow and develop as a true follower of Jesus Christ.
