Hi I'm Ally

I was raised in Idaho Falls by a wonderful family. I have been called to serve a mission in Nagoya Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. We aren't a perfect family, but we have so much fun together. I just finished my first semester at BYU Idaho and I have been called to serve a mission in Nagoya, Japan. I am scared to leave home, and my family, but I am so excited to tell people about the greatest thing in my life: the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, my parents have always been active members, and just from seeing the blessings that come into their lives I have always had a desire to make this gospel a part of my life. But my testimony is my own. I have been so blessed to have the strong testimonies of my parents to rely on as I grew up, but step by step I have gained my own knowledge of the truthfulness of this gospel. It came slowly, but it was built on a firm foundation. I know for myself that my Savior lives and that He loves me. He has heard my prayers! I know it! He is so aware of me and the things I need in my life. He suffered for my sins so I could repent and become more like him. The atonement is real! Jesus Christ really understands how we feel, whether it is happy or sad, or angry or excited. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It is the word of God, the words were written for us in our day. I love this gospel with all of my heart, and I do not know where I would be without it!

How I live my faith

I love how this church teaches us leadership, and allows us to practice it. Growing up I served as president of the different youth groups I was in, and I learned so much about how to serve others. Since I have graduated I have had the opportunity to participate in a singles ward. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other people and learn how to serve and lead them.
