Hi I'm Carol

I am a mom to five, I operate a non-profit that provides affordable housing, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

First and most importantly I am a mom - one that has watched my kids grow and move out and now wondering exactly when that happened. I spent their childhood with the blessed opportunity of working from my home and growing a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing in California. I love reading, walking, riding my cruiser bicycle, digging in my flower gardens, searching out ancestors, the Christmas season, snowy quiet evenings and sunsets.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon and while attending church was always the norm as a child, I found that as I grew my testimony of the gospel did as well. Through trials and times of deep sadness I found that I could have personal assurances that my Heavenly Father loved me with feelings of comfort and peace to my heart. I have experienced quiet whisperings confirming that Jesus Christ loved and sacrificed his life for us. I love them. I love feeling the Spirit as I read the scriptures and search out of the best books. I am so grateful that families can be forever and in the eternities we will be made whole, free from the infirmities of this life. I am a Mormon because I know that God's promises are true.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in my Church! I am strengthened as I serve and have felt deeply the spirit of my Savior, Jesus Christ as I serve our Heavenly Father's children. I grow to love those that I am called to work with. I spent five years working with young women ages 12 to 18 and how I loved being with them each week and seeing their beautiful faces and feeling their incredible spirits - they taught me much. I have spent the last three years teaching with my husband a younger set of children ages 7 turning 8. It is so much fun to watch their cute eyes, listen to their stories and remember the magic of childhood. I have served in the Church for over 30 years and each calling has strengthened me.
