Hi I'm Brie Frandsen

I grew up in southern California. I'm studying Molecular Biology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in San Diego County and I love the sunshine. I'm a hard-core thrift-store shopper and I love to try new things. I'm the oldest of five children. I love the going beach and I learned to surf this past summer. I like hiking and hiked Half Dome in Yosemite with my family a few years ago. I enjoy playing tennis and played on my high school team. I like music and I play the piano, ukulele, guitar, and mandolin. At BYU I am studying Molecular Biology. I'm currently serving in the Rome, Italy mission, speaking the beautiful Italian language!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know for myself that this Church is true. I know that God lives, because when I pray to Him in faith, I can feel His love for me. I know that Christ loves me, and that he loves each and every one of us so much that he suffered for us, so that we could return to our Father. When I've needed comfort, he's been there for me. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that gospel of Jesus Christ was restored in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon because I've learned these things are true and real.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving in the Rome, Italy mission. I've always wanted to serve a mission! I've always wanted to be able to share the joy the gospel of Jesus Christ brings to my life. I know that it will bless the life of whoever will follow Christ. And that's what I'm inviting people to do every day here in Italia. I invite whoever wants to learn more about why a 19 year old girl like me would give up 18 months of her life to ask one. Ask a missionary why they left behind home, family, school, fun, everything for 18-24 months. Ask them why it's worth it to them.
