Hi I'm Tara Soliz

I'm optimistic, I love trying new things, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from south Texas. I like to do things outdoors. I love country music! I'm a student at Brigham Young University- Idaho. I will be serving a mission and report August 6th!

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to have been blessed with a mother who has a firm testimony of the gospel and raised me in the church. I have grown up being taught the doctrines and principles of the gospel my whole life. I continually felt the spirit and believed that the church and it's teachings were true. There came a point though where I prayed to "know" that the gospel was true. Now, I never doubted that the gospel was true but I wanted to make sure that I had my very own testimony. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just believing the gospel because I was raised in the church or because my mom or other members said it was true. That is why I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That is why I am a Mormon. I have learned for myself the truthfulness of the gospel. I have a very strong testimony and it is continually being strengthened.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live like our Savior, Jesus Christ, did. I attend church regularly and have served in several different callings. I love visiting teaching and hometeaching! It's nice to have people you can go to when you are in need, especially when you are up at school away from family. Participating in visiting and home teaching also gives you wonderful opportunities to serve others!
