Hi I'm Morgan

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Music is very important to me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music is everything to me. I have been singing since before I could remember, I play piano, and play and teach guitar. It helps me feel. It is how I relate to people and things in my life. I enjoy finding musicality to everything. I also enjoy exercise. I am not very athletic like my 3 younger siblings, but I could swim, it seems, forever. And even though I don't have skills to match friends and family I enjoy any kind of pick-up game!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born Mormon, but given the opportunity, by my parents to accept it or reject it for myself. I studied the scriptures and other church material alongside prayer (which I've found is the most important part) and that has helped me to come to know my Heavenly Father. I feel joy when I am following His teachings. It wasn't always easy for me to chose the gospel, because often it made me feel alone. Sometimes I felt like an outsider when I missed parties that I knew weren't appropriate, or dressing differently from some of my friends to try to be modest. Although, through hard times I know I can always turn to Jesus Christ. I can find comfort because of Him. I know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Because music has the biggest impact on me, the hymns that we sing in church really touch me. The testimony I have of the truthfullness of this gospel is greatly influenced by the music I hear in church. Singing helps me share what I believe, not only at church but in my community. I also try to serve with the missionaries when I can. I always have a good time with them. My family likes to do "sneaky service" where we try to do things for people leaving no trace that it was us! It is so fun.
