Hi I'm Ty

My faith means everything to me. It influences my family life, my career and every other moment of my life.

About Me

I was raised in the church and acquired my own testimony on my mission. My wife and 4 children reside in West Jordan, Utah and worship with a lovely Mormon Ward congregation. We all serve in the church and love to share our beliefs with friends, neighbors and acquaintances.

Why I am a Mormon

I was called to Brazil on my mission, but served both in Brazil and in Southern California waiting for my visa. In California I was subjected to all kinds of anti-Mormon ideas. While never losing faith completely, I was affected. I had doubts and fears. I prayed mightily for help. Like I'd never prayed before. One night I had a dream that my mother (on who's faith mine was hung) had left the church. In the dream, I poured out my heart and faith to her in hope that she would return. When I woke up, I had the most amazing feeling, yet it was more of a feeling. I Knew that I knew that the Christ's church had been restored to the Earth by Joseph Smith and that the Book of Mormon, modern prophets, priesthood and temples were all a true an merciful part of that restoration. That knowledge and conviction have never wavered and have blessed my life in very specific ways. I thank my Father in Heaven for it.

How I live my faith

I'm active in my local ward. I study the gospel including the Bible, Book of Mormon and other standard works and modern revelation. I find peace and joy in the gospel, in my salvation, my relationship with God and in my eternal progression.
