Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a student studying animation. I served a mission in Montréal, Canada. I'm from Michigan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University studying animation. Two years ago I finished serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Montréal Canda. I loved being a missionary and helping others. Right now my life consists of many, many hours spent on my university's campus learning animation skills. I love the power that animation has to influence society for good, and I hope to be able to do just that some day. I also currently teach French to missionaries preparing to serve French speaking missions, a job that has been a great blessing to me. Being surrounded by servants of God has changed me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that following Jesus Christ is the only way to obtain full happiness, in this life and in the next. This is Christ's church and He leads it. Being Mormon has given me perspective on life and peace that no matter what happens around me, God is on my team. Being Mormon has pushed me out of my comfort zone so that I am no longer a passive Christian, but an active defender of God and light. I love my life.

How I live my faith

I love partcipating in various church callings and assignments. Growing up, I would go visit four different families and widows every month with my dad. I loved growing close to them and being ready and able to help them out whenever they needed it. Serving a mission also furthered by ability to serve God. I have found that you don't have to wait to be told how to live your faith. I live my faith by praying for opportunities to serve others and then serving them when an opportunity presents itself. I try to live like Christ would--to stand up for what I believe in and show love to everyone.
