Hi I'm Stephanie

My dad was in the military, so I moved around a bunch growing up. I've been all over the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel! I've been to six European Countries, and two countries in Asia. I also love to read and write, thus I'm an English Education major at BYU-Idaho. I'm a pretty good cook, which is great because I enjoy cooking and cooking for others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this church is filled with so much hope. It's easy to feel lost or alone in this chaotic world. For me, it's comforting to know I am a daughter of the Almighty Creator of the Universe. He listens to me, and knows everything I can or will ever do. I know this church is true. It teaches all the correct principles for a happy life, here and in the eternities to come. The atonement is real. I've seen work not only in my life, but in the lives of everyone around me. The Book of Mormon is truly inspired of God. My testimony grows every time I read it. I love this church so much.

How I live my faith

I enjoy visiting and teaching the sisters in my ward. I love to give service! There's no better feeling than after you've performed selfless service for another. I've served in a couple callings. Teaching the two year olds in Nursery was by far my favorite.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because we are forgiven through the atonement. The atonement couldn't be possible unless someone who was perfect came to fulfill the law. It's easy to picture that everyone is in a pit. Christ is outside the pit, waiting for us to use His help with the ladder. Only through the atonement can we use that ladder and climb out of the pit we're in. Forgiveness is possible, and He remember those sins no more. The world is full of imperfect people who make mistakes daily. That is why we need the Savior. He can make us whole again. Show more Show less
