Hi I'm Britni

I'm from a small town in Washington and am currently serving a mission in the Dominican Republic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived most of my life in a small town in Washington. I just finished my first year at Brigham Young University and am studying business management. I am currently serving a full-time mission for the church in Santiago, Dominican Republic, serving and teaching people about Jesus Christ and His gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born and raised in the church, I have always been encouraged to discover for myself if this is really the true church. I decided when I was about ten that I was going to pray to know if this church is true. It happened to be the same day as General Conference when we get to hear our prophet speak to us. As the prophet spoke, I knew he was a prophet of God and God's mouthpiece upon the earth today. Since that day, I have found joy in living the gospel and following the prophet. When I don't, I am simply not as happy and my life feels chaotic. I have come to know the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God and another testament of Jesus Christ by reading it and praying to know if it is true. I am happy when I live the gospel and have found the teachings of the gospel to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my everyday actions. Each day I strive to be the example my Heavenly Father would want me to be and to follow Jesus Christ and His example. I am currently in the Dominican Republic teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ and our Savior. I live my faith by sharing it with other people everyday.
