Hi I'm Jeremiah Bierer

I'm a Mechanic, I'm disciple of Christ, I'm a convert, I Learned about the Church when I was 14 years old. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I live in Mississippi, I'm serving a Mission out here and share with people that they are children of our Heavenly father and that he reveals his Gospel to not just one nation but all through the Book of Mormon another testament of Jesus Christ

Why I am a Mormon

At age 14 I started learning about the church at first I went with my half sisters ward\community then she took me to the Nauvoo temple visitor center. I saw the restoration video there I had a good feeling but didn't know much about the church so through regular Sunday attendance and through seminary after 4 years my parents got a divorce and I always heard that marriage more successful in the church and it doesn't have to end at death so I started asking God if it was the right choice for me and I felt that it was right for me, my parents were always telling me things about the church and Joseph Smith which I usually believed but with my Mom now leaving me and my siblings with our Dad. Our Dad had always said it was a good church but said not to join them but told me if any of us wanted to join we could be baptized at 18 but he gave me permission before my 18th so I was baptized . Just like when Christ was baptized the Holy Ghost came down in the form of a dove I felt the same feeling as the Holy Ghost dwelt in that place I felt peace and love from God and Jesus Christ, the next day I was confirmed a member given the gift of the Holy Ghost which allows us to have it as a constant companion of the third member of the Godhead.

How I live my faith

Since I accepted Christ as my Savior and redeemer and knew that the Book of Mormon was true through studying the church, I started sharing what I had experienced to put to rest the questions people had about the church not always easy but put of our covenant when we are baptized is to witness of God at all times and in all places of course he commands us to do that not out of forcing us to but out of love for God and our fellow men and women. We are all children of God and Jesus asked us to love one another as I have loved you John 15:12, and if we have something that will help others know that God loves them too and right now we all need God more than ever. So in order to help other receive the blessing of the church I chose to leave my life on hold "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."Matthew 10:39 and go on a two year mission to give others a chance to receive the blessing and joy that I have in the gospel. God commands us to teach the gospel not because we have to, but because he can change us into a better person and help us grow develop a stronger relationship with him.
