Hi I'm Allyse

I love my ukelele, laughing, and playing sports. I want to be a pediatric nurse and put smiles on children's faces. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. My family consists of seven. My wonderful parents who taught me to work hard, my four crazy but lovable brothers, and myself! To survive having four brothers, I have grown to love watching sports and playing them. Most of my childhood was spent playing basketball out in my front yard with my family. Other interests include playing and singing to my ukelele, spending time in the mountains or beach, and finding inspiring quotes. I am currently attending Brigham Young University and plan to enroll in their Nursing Program. My goal is to grow up and be a Pediatric Nurse, where I can daily help and put a smile on children's faces. My greatest ambition is to travel to third world countries and save lives. But becoming a Mom is my first priority. I hope to be known as someone who enjoys life and makes people happy. A smile can have such an impact on others, and so to those reading this, put on a smile today. Life is wonderful, and you have the capacity to bring happiness to someone's life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. My parents were raised in the gospel so my exposure to my faith has been there since I was born. But I choose to continue to be a Mormon because the gospel brings me happiness and understanding. Knowing I have a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally and knows me personally is such a comfort and blessing. Knowing I have a Savior who atoned for my sins so I can repent and become clean cannot help but bring me joy. I am a Mormon because I feel peace living a virtuous and morally clean life. I am a Mormon because when I read the Book of Mormon, I know of its truth, and can learn from its teachings. I am a Mormon because I love the feeling of having faith in something that gives me hope for my eternities. I have the knowledge that I can live my with family eternally and my life does not end here on earth. My faith gives me direction in life and teaches me that I am a daughter of a King. You may wonder if my testimony is based off my parents, but I promise you it is my own. I have learned of these teachings myself and have had the opportunity to read the Book of Mormon. I believe in these things and know that my life would not be the same without my faith. I am a Mormon because I have witnessed my grandparents happiness, my parents happiness, and my own happiness from being a Mormon. I have faith in God, and in my Savior, Jesus Christ. My faith gives me a purpose in my life, and I love the happiness I feel from being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been the president of my youth class, and am currently the family history teacher in my singles ward. As the family history teacher I go through the steps for the new FamilySearch website and teach about the importance of family history. I also am a visiting teacher to some wonderful girls in my ward and love having the opportunity to visit with them each month.
