Hi I'm Taylor Gammon

I was born and raised in Las Vegas. Music is a huge part of my life and I love adventures! Life is good. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a Mormon my whole life and couldn't be more grateful that I am! I love to sing and play the piano and have been doing it for my most of my life. I am the youngest child in my wonderful family and I have the most amazing friends any girl could ask for. I have a special place in my heart for the beach and being outdoors and I love any opportunity that I have to enjoy this wonderful world that we live in. Soon I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ogden, Utah and I couldn't be more excited! I love being Mormon and I can't wait to bring the happiness of the gospel to the wonderful people in Utah. When I return home, my biggest aspirations are to graduate from college with a degree in Interior Design and ultimately be a wife and a mother. I someday hope to be able to travel the world and embark on many adventures. I love the life that I live and I'm a firm believer in finding the good in everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be everyday of my life. My parents raised me as a Mormon and taught me very well in my youth. However, I wasn't completely converted to the gospel until I reached high school and questioned all the things that I was taught from my parents as well as in church every Sunday. I decided to read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and then pray and ask of God if the things I read were true. I didn't receive my answer right away, but through the love of God and my faith in his timing, I gained the answer that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only gospel on the earth that contains a fullness of truth. Ever since then, I have had experiences in my life that have strengthened my faith and have reminded me of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know that this church is true. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven that hears and answers the prayers of all of his children. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know that he died on the cross and was resurrected so that ALL of God's children can overcome their sin and be forgiven. I know that I am here on this earth to learn and be tested and to grow as a person so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in heaven when my time on this earth is through. I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for me on this earth and that he is constantly providing me with experiences and opportunities to learn and grow and reach my full potentials. I know that even though some of the experiences are challenging, that as long as I keep my faith and pray to God, that He will strengthen me and provide me with a way to overcome any obstacle that comes my way. I know that God loves all of his children with an unconditional love and that Jesus Christ loves us SO much that he willingly gave up his life for our benefit. I love this gospel and I love being a Mormon. It is without a doubt the easiest and most fulfilling decision I have ever made.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday and participating in callings that are assigned to me. I am currently acting as pianist and it's a perfect calling for me. In high school I attended seminary all four years and studied the scriptures, Jesus Christ, and principles of the gospel. I enjoy participating in service for others and I love the joy that comes from doing good. I am currently preparing to serve a mission and I can't wait to give 18 months of my life to serving the Lord and bringing the truth of the gospel to my brothers and sisters in Utah.
