Hi I'm Nate Bracken

I've been born and raised in Provo, manage a local smoothie place at home, and currently a full time missionary in the DR.

About Me

I'm an ambitious young man who has grown up in the church and always known it to be true. I decided to put schooling and career aside so I can serve a full time, two year mission for the LDS church. I love to ski, love to drive and work on cars and motorcycles, love to both cook and eat food, and I especially love people and the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church to be true. I wouldn't give it up for anything! After you feel the burning and cleansing power of the atonement, and the continual gospel progression through sacred ordinances available to all, you will feel better than you ever have in your entire life. I love my life and this church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a full time mission. It is the best decision I have ever made. I devote every moment of each and every day to helping others become closer to Christ. Because I want everyone to experience the same blessings that i have received belonging to the church.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Nate Bracken
In 1833 The Prophet Joseph Smith received revelation known as Words of Wisdom. It can be found in D&C:89 that we are to abstain from tobacco, alcohol, coffee and tea and illegal drugs. Aside from being a commandment from god though modern day prophets, It helps us to, and promises us that we will be healthy and happy! I personally have seen the blessings from obeying these commandments and I promise you, that you will too! It will strengthen you, your family, and your relationships. Show more Show less
