Hi I'm Penni

I have a loving husband and six wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young University. I have been an elementary school teacher, a waitress, a cashier, an apartment manager, a seamstress, and an inspector of manufactured goods. I love to surround myself with my religion, to listen to uplifting music, and to be with my family. I enjoy calligraphy, sewing, weaving, cooking, and learning foreign languages.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be raised as a member of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). Because of this, I have had comfort in the trials and difficult situations including the death of family members that I have encountered in my life. This is because of the knowledge of the teachings of our church.

How I live my faith

In my church, I teach and help to lead young ladies from the ages of 12-18 about the gospel. I also look after three different women and their families as a visiting teacher. In my community I frequently donate blood to the Red Cross, rake lawns for the elderly, and try to help those around me. I always try to be a good neighbor and friend. I love Jesus Christ and do my best to follow His teachings.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Wards are groups of Church members comparable to parishes in the Catholic Church. They are led by a bishop, who is asked to voluntarily contribute their services to watch over and care for those is his ward. In areas where the Chruch has fewer members in a geographical area, there are branches, led by a branch president. Stakes are groups of six or more of these wards and branches in a geographical area. These are led by a stake president. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Just as Lutherns don't worship Martin Luther, we don't worship Joseph Smith. We honor him and recognize him as the one whom the Lord chose to restore his Church and Priesthood on the earth. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?
