Hi I'm Jacquie Perrault

I am a Mormon. I"m proud of it, I love it and I live it.

About Me

I was born in a small town in the rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. I have many interests and a few hobbies. I love to read books that are wholesome and uplifting, I have had two careers in my life, the first being a hairdresser for many years and at the age of 48 I went back to college and became a Resident Care-Aide. I loved my job at a Seniors facility in my home town. I am married to a non-member of the church, I have a son, daughter and a step-daughter and 7 fabulous grandchildren. I became a Mormon at the age of 13.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for a sister that married a Mormon and from this I was taught the gospel. I am so thankful for the Lords tender mercies in my life, for the ordinance of repentance, and most of all my testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. For the young man, Joseph Smith, who wanted to know what church was true, and because of his earnest prayer to our Father in Heaven, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was restored to the earth. Living the principles of my church gives me the greatest sense of well-being. I am grateful for the power of prayer in my life. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that Jesus is the Christ, that He died for me, and only through Him can anyone return to our Heavenly home and family. Families are forever.

How I live my faith

I am an active volunteer in my community. I attend my church meetings regularly and love Sundays. I love to visit with members of my faith to see if there is anything I can do for them or their friends and family. I teach a lesson every fourth Sunday at my church. This gives me the opportunity to learn more about my Savior Jesus Christ.
