Hi I'm Bradyn

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a college student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 24 year old college student living the single life in Rexburg, Idaho. But I am currently living in Houston interning with an accounting firm. I am studying accounting but I am not your ordinary accountant. I love to be with my friends and family; I love to do karaoke and dance; and I love to travel. But most of all, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern California. My family lived in Riverside for 10 years then we moved to Texas. After living in Texas for a few years, we moved to Arizona. I have lived in many types of communities; from being the only member in my town my age, to going to seminary as a class in high school; I know how it feels to be the only one and part of the crowd.

Why I am a Mormon

I live by the motto “To be in the world but not of the world.” I go out and do fun things but I know where to lay down the line in order to maintain my standards. I am not perfect; I make mistakes but that is why I need the gospel in my life. One thing that sets The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints apart from other faiths is that God's authority to act in His name has been restored in it. I know that God speaks to his servants and that there is a living prophet on the earth today to guide us in these hard times. His name is Thomas S. Monson. It gives me comfort to know that I can rely on true accurate guidance via God's servant. I know that President Monson is a true servant because I have prayed and asked God for myself. The only way to know is to ask for yourself. That is the beauty of this gospel: ask and ye shall receive.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following through with my commitments at church or as a good citizen. I've participated in my ward by planning for temple visits. I have been a home teacher (a person that visits with church members to attend to their temporal and spiritual needs). I have been a Sunday School teacher for the youth. Any calling that I have I always try to do my best. I love serving others because that is when I find real happiness.
