Hi I'm Kolton Brown

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I went to Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up and have lived in Utah my whole life. I am the oldest of three, I have two younger sisters. I graduated from High School in 2012, and soon after decided to go to college. I went to Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. I love going on vacation! My favorite places I've been to are Disneyland, the Bahamas, and Cozumel Mexico. After going to college for about a year I decided to go on a mission. I moved home after finishing my second semester, and started working at a car dealership. Shortly after I received my mission call to Tennessee! I am currently serving my mission, and loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I don't really know what it's like to be totally without this gospel. However, when I started my senior year in High School I didn't really want to participate in the church. I only went to church because my friends went. When I went to college I could really see a difference in my life because I could choose for myself if I wanted the gospel in my life. I will admit I was lazy at times, but when I came to know for myself that our Heavenly Father REALLY is there for me personally it changed everything. I started feeling the Spirit more in my life by reading my scriptures, going to church, and praying daily. I desired to get closer to my Father in Heaven. Of course, the adversary worked really hard against me when I decided to go on a mission, but I knew I could overcome anything. And I did, I built my foundation on Christ and this gospel, and I have never looked back.

How I live my faith

Before going on my mission I lived my faith by always doing what I knew to be right. I had a lot of negative influences on me in college, but with my strength in the gospel I pushed through. After moving back home my Dad and I went home teaching to other members in our ward. Currently all my time is devoted to living my faith, and inviting others how to come unto Christ.
