Hi I'm Jenna

I'm a born and raised Utahn. I'm a dancer, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I danced competitively in high school, and loved every minute of it. I'm a current freshman at Brigham Young University, and I still love being active. Reading, Zumba classes, and making treats with my roommates are a few of my favorite things. I have a lot of dreams and goals for my life, and it's been interesting to see them change throughout my young adult life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, and for a long time I leaned heavily on the beliefs of my parents. I strengthened a lot of my personal beliefs when my older brother Scott decided to serve a full-time LDS mission. During that time I had a lot of struggles, but I learned to lean on the Lord and on my own beliefs. I still have so much to learn and I know that I am flawed, but I know that the Savior Jesus Christ loves me. He will help me learn and through His atonement I can become perfected. I know this because of how I feel when I read the scriptures, and I know they are the word of God. The Bible and The Book of Mormon fill me with strength to resist temptation from Satan, and they help me realize my worth and potential. Above all I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints makes me happy, and it is where I belong.

How I live my faith

I'm currently in a ward for young single adults, it's full of other BYU students. The love I feel from my ward members really makes the ups and downs of school easier for me. I serve the ladies of my ward as 'compassionate service leader' which means I get to take ice cream to the girls after a tough breakup, or when they're stressed about school. This church makes me happy, and I see it bless the lives of so many others. I love that I can be a part of it.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Jenna
Our Latter-Day prophet is President Thomas S. Monson. He has power and authority over the entire church, and can receive revelation for it. I know that he is striving to become for like the Savior everyday, just like you and me. Show more Show less
