Hi I'm Grant

I'm a musician, songwriter, audio engineer and entrepreneur. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love expressing myself through art, whether its drawing or writing a song. Music is my big hobby. I'm always singing some song whether its metal, rock, alternative, indie, hip hop, or singer-songwriter stuff, I love to have a beat going in my head. I record my music too and put it on the internet for others to listen to. I love to snowboard in the lush snow of Utah, especially with my brother. I'm a firm believer in freedom. I think everyone deserves to be free of fear and live their lives to the fullest. Every day should be a new adventure and we should always strive to make the best decisions that bring us closer to that personal freedom.

Why I am a Mormon

I made the decision to be mormon when I realized that my life wasn't going the way I wanted. I was very unhappy and didn't really have a purpose in life. I realized as I began to really keep the commandments that I became more free and not more restricted like some might think. It broke the bands that were holding me down. Everything changed for me and I've never looked back.

How I live my faith

I always try to look for opportunities to serve others. Its important to me to be useful and help. I always try to ask myself the classic question, "What would Jesus do?" Although it sounds cheesy (I know your probably laughing), it has shaped many important decisions in my life that have turned out to be the best ones. I love the Church and its organization. Its not perfect, and less perfect are the people in it, but it has been a haven for me when the world is cold and dark. I recently served a mission in Mexico City for 2 years where I went an preached the Gospel of Christ door to door and to anyone who would listen. I loved it. I learned a new language and also learned a lot about myself and my potential as a son of God. I learned good habits and values as well that have changed my life forever. I currently serve in my congregation in Utah visiting other people from time to time, helping them strengthen their own testimony of Christ and his restored gospel.
