Hi I'm Nate Hornsby

Grew up in Alabama. I'm a Cartoonist! Also an Eagle Scout. I've been called on a mission to Mesa, Arizona! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school in 2013. I plan to serve a full time mission, then head off to college. I want to get a degree in business then a masters degree in liberal arts. I want to become a cartoonist/animator for a living. I've grown up watching all the great cartoons, and each one has a special place in my heart. I love to laugh, and I love too make people laugh. What better way is there to do that than creating the next family icon that everyone loves to watch get hit in the head with a frying pan. I've also always used my imagination to make stories with the characters I've created and watching people giggle as they read the next punch line or gag that happens. I've always been a bit of a goof to begin with, so creating Toons that are a part of me makes them even more special to me. I'm also an avid gamer. I'm also an Eagle Scout. That's pretty much me in a nut shell.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have always been there to guide me in my life. And they've taught me lots of things over the years. So, yes i was born into the church, and yes my parents have pushed me to live the teachings of the Gospel. But I do believe in all the things taught in the church, because every time I listen to the teachings I always have warmth in my heart that lets me know that this church is the true church. And I've never been dissuaded to think other wise. And, anytime I have questions about the teachings, I get my answers trough prayer or otherwise. I live the teachings of the gospel because i know that it's the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

I've always done my part in the church. Any calling I've been given I've always accepted and done my best in that calling. The Boy Scouting Program has always been a large part of my life. I've also taken 4 years of seminary(which is like bible study). I've done lots of service projects. And I'm about to serve a full time mission.
