Hi I'm Kiela Jackman

I grew up in Brigham City Utah, and I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student majoring in Elementary Education. I love to be in the outdoors. Camping, hiking, soccer, running, and other sports are my favorite things to do. My favorite color is yellow and my favorite food would have to be pork chops with some good cheesy potatoes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know this church is true and have seen it influence my life for the better. Joseph Smith was a prophet from God that restored this church to the earth. We have a living day prophet now named Thomas S Monson who guides our church in these latter days. He receives direct revelation from God and helps us know what we should be doing in our lives to be more like Christ. The Book of Mormon is a powerful book that Joseph Smith translated, I know that the teachings in this book are true and so powerful if you apply the concepts it teaches you into your daily life your life will be happier. I know that if we get on our knees and pray to God he will answer our prayers and give us personal revelation. He is always there for us no matter the sin we have committed or the happiness we have in our life at the time. I know that God lives and loves all his children. I know that as we put faith in him and act as he would we will be happy and live life to the fullest. I am so grateful for this church in my life and wouldn't want to live any other way. The plan of salvation is real, and I know that my family is together forever through the ordinances and covenants of the priesthood in the temple. I know that this church can bring everyone back to Christ someday and that it brings true happiness and guidance in our lives. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the Family History for our singles ward. I love to help people learn about who they are and where they came from. Families are together forever, teaching people this concept is incredible. I love serving those around me and helping them know that they are a child of God.
