Hi I'm Kelle

I'm a devoted mother & wife of a "patch-work" family, a veteran of the US Army and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom, momma, step-mom and adopted mom to my puppies Lillie & Sophie. I love the outdoors and I have a growing desire to reconnect with the simple things in life, like the veins in the leaves on flowers or the world beneath our feet, tiny blades of grass and sunshine spilling onto a sea of snow. I have a yearning to discover healthy foods that are vital to our everyday life and how they truly affect our behavior and how we veiw the world we see by what we consume. I have a passion for good music, the kind that speaks to you and uplifts. I learned to play the piano as a child and I have entertained the thought of reconnecting with my dusty talent. I enjoy cooking...alot...and making a new dish just about every night, my family sure loves it! I served in the US Army and I'm a veteran - serving our country is a deeply held personal committment to me and an honor to do for the beliefs I hold sacred in my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

This Gosple is truly a personal relationship with our Father in Heaven. I've realized that by embracing the Gosple I have felt the tender mercies of injustices pass away, the sweet peace of forgiveness and the blessing of engaging in the Lord's work. I have come to know what the Lord meant when He said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 I'm a Mormon because this is the Lord's work, His church and I want to be a part of the greatest Army of saints the world has ever witnessed. I want to be a part of saving souls, serving and loving those around me regardless of past or present circumstances. I've been blessed with empathy and compassion on levels I can not even begin to articulate. I love following the Gosple to the best of my abilities because I am happy, I am a more authentic me and I'm humbled to be a part of this marvelous work growing in the world today. I appreciate the mercy extended to me by a loving, gentle Heavenly Father and I know that my Savior know's me intimately, purely, perfectly and I know this because no one has ever touched my heart so deeply as I cling to the message of the Restored Gosple. Which is: He lives and He loves each and everyone of us and He know's exactly what we are meeting and dealing with everyday and I know we are never, ever alone in our efforts and our weaknesses.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live in a way that inspires others. I've had to be a partipant in many difficult and disheartening situations as I have lived my short life thus far. What has helped me the most is embracing the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and not letting it go no matter what. I currently teach once a month in our woman's group during church on Sunday's. I find it fun to teach as I become the student more often than the teacher. I am also the adminstrator of a new facebook page called Meal & A Message. It is my humble attempt at becoming a better member missionary and serving my fellow friends and family a message of the Gosple while sharing a meal.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Kelle
I know through personal experience that we only need to learn to trust Him and to dig deeper more than ever before. As I struggle with the devistation of divorce and my place in the bigger picture, I have had to learn to lean on my Savior. I can say, it's not an easy task and it takes effort. We live in a world full of instant everything. I say to that, does anything of worth truly come in a moments notice? No, we take time to obtain degree's, the author takes his pen to paper over time to create a novel and the musician cultivates talent over years of effort. Through my own personal efforts I've come to know that it is crucial to take the time to cultivate our very personal relationship with Him and to let the window's of heaven pour out when the time is right and when we are ready to receive that help. Regardless of what juncture I'm in, so long as I'm leaning on Him, I'm on the absolutely correct direction that will ultimately lead me to where He wants me to be and in the end I will succeed because He will not leave us, nor forsake us. I have personally become attentive to my surroundings, appreciative of the world around me and I soak up all I can to be able to hear the message I need to. I listen to uplifting music, I eat healthy and I listen intently to speakers and teachers at church clinging to everyword as if my very life depended on it. It is the water from the well that I need to combat the daily trials I face everyday. Embrace and never let go. Show more Show less
