Hi I'm Frank Gaughan

I joined the LDS Church at 45. I worked in the high tech industry for decades. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Jersey and was an altar boy and attended Catholic Schools. As I got older, my family drifted away from Catholicism, and we children drifted away as well. Three decades later my wife and I felt the need for spiritual guidance in our lives, and we joined the Mormon Church.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Mormon Church has allowed us to raise our 4 sons in an environment that fosters the values we care about -- respect for God and his children here on the Earth, being responsible for ourselves, and sharing the gifts that God has given us with those we come in contact with. It also taught them to rely on the silent promptings of the Holy Ghost, which will protect them, direct them into holy paths, and tach them how to live a life that is pleasing to God in Heaven.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are preparing to work in the Employment Resource Office in Houston Texas as full time missionaries for the church. We are very excited to help God's children in this way, and look forward to helping people find work. We also serve doing family history work by indexing historical records so that people who are researching for their ancestors can find out who they were, what they did in their lives, and how they are connected to their past. It is extremely fulfilling to provide this service!
