Hi I'm Klark

I grew up in the Salt Lake City area but left after graduating from High School and never looked back. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have loved trains all my life and want someday to have my own model railroad layout. I am a grandpa and dearly love my children and grandchildren; oh how I want the best for them. I joined the Air Force at 17. I worked as Security Police (K-9) and a computer programmer. I have been to Vietnam, Germany, and Iceland. I have lived in Arizona (short while) and Nebraska (long time). I have watched the Corn Huskers play some great football games and will always be a fan; Go Big Red!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon Church. I have attended other churches and love the spirit that is in the meetings and in the members of the congregation but I just feel like a part of me is missing when I attend those meetings even though they are great. When I listen to the semi-annual conferences of the Mormon church, I feel the love that those men and women have for me even though they do not know me. I feel it especially when I hear the President of the Church talk; I think it is as close to my Lord and Savor as I can get in this life.

How I live my faith

I help out at our local Library by showing the movies on the monthly movie night and other things. I help keep our ward building clean and in good repair.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Klark
Joseph Smith was a person just like you and me. We do not worship him; we respect him; we revere him as an instrument in the hands of the Almighty in restoring to the earth the ancient truths of the divine gospel, together with the priesthood through which the authority of God is exercised in the affairs of His Church and for the blessing of His people We acknowledge the Prophet; we proclaim him; ; Show more Show less
