Hi I'm Brook

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. I am mormon.

About Me

I like to do anything active or outside, I like to learn about cars and work on them, and I like to read and write anything. I love playing all sports , but the two I am best at are soccer and basketball. I play the flute not very much anymore but still know how. I want to learn how to play the bagpipes, I think that would be lots of fun. When I say active I mean boating, wakeboarding, tubing, biking, swimming, four wheeling, camping, anything except running and hiking! I love to travel although I haven't done much and learn about cultures aroung the world and their religions. I am not going to college but I am going to Guatemala to serve and LDS mission. I did just graduate high school last year and prepping to leave on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always really know that God has been there with me through everything that I have dealt with in my life from family struggles to school struggles and even struggling with friends. I have ever since I can remember known that the church was true and known where I have needed to be in my life and how much the Gospel could be a guiding light in my life and my families'. I am a member of this church because I enjoy the peace and comfort it brings into my life and the strength and support it has been for me when I have felt completely alone and have no where to go or anyone to talk to. I am a member because this Gospel has taught me the importance of who we are as a people, and how important we all are to God. We are God's children and he loves each and every one of us on this earth and he loves that we chose to come to this earth to learn and grow even if we do make mistakes. Mistakes and trials are ok and bad things happen to good people it's apart of life and growth and relying on the LDS church has taught me that and I know that to be true.

How I live my faith

I dont have a calling in my ward currently but sometimes I am used as a substitute for the children's classes that need help on Sundays.
