Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Denver Colorado. I love to run. I have been called to serve my mission in Rochester New York. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born in Stony Brook, New York but was raised in Denver Colorado. I am the youngest of 4 in my family. I was a dancer from the time I was nine, until I was a senior in high school. Currently, I am attending Utah State University and am majoring in Composite Social Studies. I plan on taking a year and a half off of school to serve a mission for my church in Rochester, New York. I enjoy running in 5K, 10K, and half marathon races and I hope to someday run a full marathon. I love the outdoors and I love to spend time with my family whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were converts to the church when they were younger. I have been fortunate enough to have been raised in the church. But despite the fact that I was born into the church, The decision to be a member has been and always will be up to me. I chooses everyday to be a member of this church. I know that this gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ restored this gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ because I have prayed about it and felt it in my heart. I know that this gospel brings happiness and peace to my life. I know that this church is true with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of this church my whole life. As a youth I was called to be in charge of the other young women in my ward that were 12-18 years of age. Currently, I am serving as the Ward Prayer Director for a young singe adult Ward in Logan, Utah. I also have been assigned to visit two women in my ward once a week with a companion from my ward. Singing is something that I enjoy, so I have joined my ward choir as well. I try to attend as many church activities as I can and find that when I do, I never regret it. I visit the temple at least once a week and try to go whenever I have spare time. I love this gospel and I don't know where I would be without it.
