Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Idaho, lived in Northern California for 7 years, I love sports, baseball, soccer, basketball, racquetball.

About Me

I love to play sports, I'm not a huge fan of watching because i'd rather get out and play and be active. So i'm a very outdoor and get out of the house guy. I love to be around people, hanging out with family and friends and doing stuff together, quality time, projects, games. I do like to play video games, but more with my friends then by myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My family, parents, grandparents, even great-grandparents, all were members and grew up being members too. So I felt like it was always something just everyone did. I had friends that weren't members but it always seemed to me that they were. I remember when I was in High School, it was the summer before my senior year and I was called to help the younger kids to understand the Book of Mormon, but I had never read the Book of Mormon before. So I went to Utah on a youth trip, and also my family came because we were going to visit some family. We went to the Salt Lake City Temple in temple square. And I remember looking up at the temple asking myself I want to know more about that place and when I thought that I felt an overwhelming feeling of love. It was incredible and very impacting and from then on I had a desire to know more about the church, the beliefs of the Gospel and the Temple. I know that this church is true, I know that the gospel is true and I know that Temples are where families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in the church by helping others with there Family History. So when people have questions about how to start there family history or how to find there ancestors or stuff like that I help them. I love to go home teaching and I feel it is very important. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and become friends with each other.
