Hi I'm Rachel

I love Spain, chocolate, sunsets, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in the sunny state of California. I moved 5 years later to the even sunnier state of Arizona and have been there ever since. I am the oldest of 4 children and I love it! I am a college student and am currently studying Elementary Education with a double minor in English Secondary Language and the Language Immersion Program. I served a full time mission for the church in Spain, the best place in the world! I love to dance, sing, shop, play the flute and piano, cheer, swim, run, hike, read, travel, and I'm sure a ton of other things. I think life is great!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, both my parents are members. I grew up going to church every Sunday and living the standards. But I'm not a member of the church only because I was raised in it, I always felt that it was true. During my high school years was when I developed an even firmer testimony that it was true, and have never doubted since. I feel something special every time I am at church, reading my scriptures, or praying. I know that it's true and nothing makes me happier then living these standards and this gospel.

How I live my faith

I love being Mormon. I have always loved going to church every Sunday and participating in all the activities. I have loved having the chance to serve in many different callings in the church. My particular favorite was when I had a chance to serve the people of Spain on a 18 month mission, it was the best experience of my life and forever changed me. I live my faith everyday by reading the scriptures, praying, attending church meetings, serving, and attending the temple as much as I can. These things help me stay strong and become more like my Savior everyday.
