Hi I'm Renee

Born and raised in Oxnard California; grew up in St. George, Utah, and Ensenada, Baja California Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a bit crazy about the outdoors; I enjoy being physically active whether it be playing sports, hiking, camping, going out for a walk, being involved with community service, etc. I love spending some good quality time with my family and close friends, watching movies, and I do enjoy a good book every once in a while. I am currently serving a full-time mission in the California Fresno Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I enjoyed being involved in church activities while being young. Eventually, latter in my teenage years, I was put into a situation where I was to decide if I was really going to live what I came to know as my religion. First, I had to know for a surety that I absolutely believed in my religion and its doctrinal principles; this was not an easy task at all. I spent many sleepless nights for a time searching through the scriptures to help me find the light that I needed so drastically at this time of my life. One night my family and I had a visit from the missionaries to teach us a little more about The Atonement of Jesus Christ, as I listened and pondered to their words I was beginning to see that light that my Heavenly Father was freely giving to me, until it literally hit me so hard I could not help but to shed a tear or two. It was at this moment where I felt the extraordinary power of the love that God has for His children as well as the moment that I decided to serve as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have felt His love and seen the many blessings that come from Him in my life, I know that I may not be able to ever re-pay Him for what he as done for me, but I know that it is still something I have to pay for.

How I live my faith

I think it's safe to say that "Faith" is a verb. I choose to live my faith through striving to become a good person through small acts of kindness. I also live my faith by choosing to become the best in everything I do or anything that may be asked of me. Its a work in progress but I think I'll get there someday.
