Hi I'm Michaela

I grew up in Utah and come from a wonderful family of 8. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family and friends. I love playing boards games and sports. Being outside is one of my favorite things! I love to camp and when I have the choice, I will always jump in a freezing lake. I also really love to read and sew. I love to wear clothes that I have made, because it makes me feel like I can create anything. I work in customer service, which has taught me a lot about patience and being kind to everyone. I attended one semester of college and am currently waiting to go on a mission in May.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in an LDS family, I have chosen for myself to continue following my Savior, Jesus Christ. One important part of my personal conversion is the Book of Mormon. Every time I read it, I learn something important. I feel like the words and testimonies in there are written especially for me. I wouldn't be who I am without that book. Another important thing for me is the knowledge that my family has the chance to be together forever. I love my family so much, so knowing that we have the opportunity to work towards being together forever means more than the world to me. I am also so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has done so much for me. So much more than I will ever be able to comprehend. I know that I can always pray to him, and he will always hear me. He is there for me when I feel like no one else is. I know that without this Gospel, I wouldn't be where I am, or who I am. I am so thankful for it everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and trying my best to treat others the best that I can. One of the ways I serve others, is by visiting teaching. I love visiting teaching, because you get to truly know people! You get the chance to sit with your fellow ladies in the ward and just visit with them! I love being able to talk with them about what's going on in their lives. Visiting teaching is a nice way to be involved with others and to be able to talk about the Gospel. I also love how much my visiting teachers care about me! They are always so concerned and want to know if they can help me with anything.
