Hi I'm Camille Zollinger

I was born and raised in Utah. I am an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an artsy kind of girl. I make my own cards and I love to pencil draw. I also enjoy baking and cooking. Fattening foods (cookies, turtle bars, cakes, etc.) are my specialty. Even though I am an artsy person, I am a Tom boy at heart. I love sports! I played soccer for 11 years of my life and sports have always been part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because of the happiness, peace, hope, and light that it brings into my life. To know that I am a Daughter of God and that there is a Heavenly Father who loves me, and who loves all of us so much that he sent Jesus Christ to die and suffer for each and everyone of us, so that we could one day return to live back with Him, is life changing. Yes, I grew up in the church. I have attended church ever since I was a little girl, but that's not why I go back every sunday. I go back every Sunday to learn more. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and that is why I am a Mormon. I know the peace and comfort that it has brought into my life, and I continually need to feel my Heavenly Father's love to keep going in life. I see how much it has blessed my life and the lives of those around me. Knowing that death is not the end, that we truly do continue to live beyond the grave is life changing. I have dear family members that I have never been able to meet, because they died before I was born. But the way my parents talk about them make me want to be able to meet them one day. I know that they are in Heaven, they are with God; and the only thing that is keeping me from seeing them again is me. The church, this gospel, and the testimony that I continually am growing and adding to is how I am going to be able to see my loved family members that have gone to Heaven. Knowing what I know, that is why I continue to be a Mormon, that is why I am a Member of the Church of Jesus christ of Latter-day Saints; because I see the love that my Heavenly Father has for me personally, and has for every single one of His children and I want to continue to learn and broaden my understand of the church so that I can return back to Heaven when I die.

How I live my faith

Every Tuesday night in my town the Young Single Adults get together to meet and get to know each other more. A lesson is always taught (whether it be from the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, or another form of doctrine) and after the lesson/class is done then we eat treats and talk. I am in charge of supplying the treats for our Tuesday Institute nights.
