Hi I'm Lexi

I'm a Texan. Music is not my life but is a big part of it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student and I am currently getting ready to go on a mission. Cleveland Ohio baby! I honestly still am a bit foggy in some areas of my future (like my career) but they things become clearer everyday. What do I like to do? I like to go out with friends or family like to dinner. I do like some alone time and write, read or listen to music. I do like to look at the sunset or sunrise. I love the sky when it is it's own painting. Other people commonly tell me that they find me funny or hilarious but let's just cut to the chase. I'm just down right crazy. I am not too serious but I can be. I love this world and find it interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

The question for me is probably more like Why am I still a Mormon? Being born and raised in the gospel you can only lean so much on your parents testimony before you can go out and start one for yourself. It was a long journey for me to gain my own testimony and it's growing everyday ounce by ounce. I choose this faith over another faith because it leaves me worry-less, happy and loved. I feel like with everything I do know and everything I am learning and I am never left, after explanation, confused or lost. I don't feel lost in a church that not only is about principle but practices what they preach. I feel happy in a church where we all have an understanding that everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect and that we are all sons and daughters of Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I love what I feel when I comply to the principles or what is asked of me. I am never left feeling bad. This all makes sense and it all feels good. I grow everyday. Most of all, I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and God.

How I live my faith

These answers are going to be primary but it's because they are fundamental. I strive on praying, reading my scriptures everyday and going to church every week. I do my best to serve and help others when I am able. I live my faith by doing what the Lord asks me to do whether it comes from the scriptures or the Prophet.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Lexi
Mormons believe in Jesus Christ as our savior and redeemer. He came to this Earth and suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for us. This suffering is what is called the Atonement. He bled through every pore and took upon himself the sins of every person that will ever walk the Earth. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Show more Show less
